Dubai, UAE, 10 June 2012. As the ninth month of the Islamic calendar sees Muslims all over the world fasting from dawn to sunset, the Park Hyatt Dubai gears up to ensure that all guests are able to enjoy a full range of Ramadan festivities.

RAMADAN IFTAR TENT AT THE CREEK BALLROOM

The Park Hyatt Dubai Hotel, in association with Rivoli Group, LG and Mercedes- Benz, will host Iftar functions in the magnificent setting of the Creek Ballroom. Whether guests are looking for a place to host corporate Iftars, or large private functions in the minutes before sunset, the Park Hyatt Dubai team looks forward to helping them celebrate this special month.

Throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan, the Park Hyatt Dubai’s Creek Ballroom will be transformed into an authentic Ramadan tent, serving only the finest traditional Ramadan dishes in an extensive buffet guaranteed to cater to all tastes. The buffet selection will be tailor-made according to the organisers’ requirements, and shisha lounges can be set-up at the Creek Ballroom terraces upon request for those who wish to relax after breaking fast, and to enjoy the typical Middle Eastern water pipe.

The Creek Ballroom’s Ramadan Iftar tent is available for private bookings nightly from sundown until 10:00pm.

SOHOUR NIGHTS AT THE TERRACE

Enjoy a feast of Sohour specialties in a stunning waterfront location

The Park Hyatt Dubai presents Sohour nights at The Terrace, an opportunity to share a variety of culinary delights with family and friends as you relax by the beautiful waterfront.  A full Ramadan Sohour a-la-carte menu is available, with cold and hot mezze, main courses, desserts and traditional beverages.

The Terrace will open on to the outdoor piazza, which will be fully covered and air-conditioned, and which will offer a large variety of shisha flavours for guests to choose from, priced between AED65 and AED75, as they relax and enjoy the authentic ambience.

An option of booking The Terrace exclusively for private Iftar functions for a minimum of 30 people is also available from 6pm to 9pm.

The Terrace will be open for Sohour daily from 8:00pm to 2:00am.

IFTAR AT CAFÉ ARABESQUE

Enjoy an Iftar buffet in a stylish setting, with spectacular views overlooking Dubai Creek.

During the course of Ramadan, Café Arabesque will display a traditional Arabic theme, offering guests an extensive Iftar buffet of both local and Middle Eastern dishes.

Celebrating the culinary delights of the Levant, Café Arabesque will offer a truly rich Arabic Iftar buffet, featuring more than 40 different kinds of cold and hot mezze, soups, and ouzy, served with oriental rice, rotisserie dishes, carvings, kebabs and more than ten different main courses, all baked in a wood-fired oven and accompanied by the finest hot Arabic bread. 

Homemade Baklawa, and a large selection of dates, fruit and desserts will provide a sweet ending to this special time of the day. 

Iftar Arabesque will be available daily from sundown to 10:00pm and is priced at AED180 per person, including soft drinks.

IFTAR BUFFET AT TRAITEUR

Enjoy an Iftar buffet featuring Western and Middle Eastern delights

For the first time this Ramadan, the Park Hyatt Dubai will be introducing a new venue for its Iftar destinations.

Traiteur, the multiple award-winning French restaurant, will be serving a daily Iftar buffet, featuring Western as well as Middle Eastern menu selections.

Traiteur will be open for Iftar functions throughout the last three weeks of Ramadan, and will be available for private function hire for a minimum of 80 people.

Traiteur will be available daily from sundown until 10:00pm and is priced at AED180 per person, including soft drinks.

PARK HYATT DUBAI RESTAURANTS AND BAR RAMADAN SCHEDULE:

–          Café Arabesque: open all day. Breakfast is served from 6:30 to 11:30am; lunch from 12:30 to 4:00pm; Iftar from sunset to 9:00pm

       The Ramadan menu is priced at AED180 per person. No alcohol will be served.

–          The Terrace: an air-conditioned terrace as well as an indoor venue serving traditional Sohour dishes as well as shisha. Open from 9:00pm to 2:00am. No alcohol will be served.

–          The Lounge: open from sunset to sunrise, serving a Ramadan menu. No alcohol will be served.

–          Pistache: Arabic sweets and cookies will be on offer from the Park Hyatt Dubai’s chic pastry boutique, as well as specially made Ramadan and Eid gift hampers. Open daily from sunset to 2:00am.

–          Traiteur: open throughout the last three weeks of Ramadan and serving Western as well as Middle Eastern menu selections. Open from sunset to 9:00pm.

The Ramadan menu is priced at AED180 per person. No alcohol will be served.

–          The Thai Kitchen: open daily from 7:00pm to 12:00 midnight, serving the regular dinner menu and beverages. Closed for lunch and Friday brunch. The Thai Kitchen will serve all the hotel’s licensed beverages throughout Ramadan from 7:00pm to 2:00am.
