Los Angeles, CA – Snoop Dogg signed on to headline the Developing Options 2nd Annual Health Awareness Benefit Concert. The Benefit Concert will be the highlight of the weekend of activities to raise awareness for children who suffer from Lupus and Diabetes.
The action packed weekend will include a Charity Gala, 2 day Sports Clinic and activities for girls and boys. A host of celebrities will attend the various events of the 2ND Annual Health Awareness Benefit Weekend for Developing Options, a non-profit charitable organization formed by Eugene “Big U” Henley to provide advocacy, education, resources, and underprivileged communities worldwide. Developing Options Founder and Executive Director Eugene “Big U” Henley stated, “We are very happy to have teamed up with Snoop Dogg. We feel strongly that this year’s Health Awareness Benefit Weekend will be even more successful than last year’s Benefit Weekend. Last year’s Health Awareness Benefit Weekend was extremely successful A number of celebrities gathered in Los Angeles last July to raise awareness for children who suffer from diabetes. The three day event was sponsored by the non-profit Developing Options, The City of Los Angeles Wells Fargo Bank, Powerade, The LAPD and football legend /community activist, Jim Brown, Tommy “Tiny” Lister, and Ving Rhames.
Developing Options is a 501(c) (3) charitable organization dedicated to community development and the cultural and economic revitalization of communities worldwide. Founded in 2004 by world peacemaker Eugene “Big U” Henley with the vision of offering services that assist people who are experiencing violence, are at risk of homelessness and have limited resources- to create an environment that strengthens and develops communities by promoting integrated approaches that provide food, decent housing, a suitable and sustainable living environment and expand economic opportunities for low and moderate income persons.
